Michelle Reum is a wellness guide whose path into holistic living began over 15 years ago with the transformative experience of motherhood. What started as a search for balance grew into a lifelong journey of empowering others through practices that nurture both body and spirit.
Born in the mystical town of Salem, MA, and raised in a large, mostly female family, Michelle carries a deep reverence for self-nurturing traditions passed down through generations. Along the way, she explored everything from weightlifting to juice cleansing, only to discover that the missing ingredient was always self-love. Yoga and Ayurveda became the practices that resonated most deeply with her soul.
After earning her Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising and Management in 2014, Michelle shifted her career path toward health and wellness. She completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2018, followed by Ayurvedic studies through the Sevanti Institute and bodywork training at Kripalu.
Today, Michelle weaves together yoga, Ayurveda, and sound healing to create experiences that bring people into deeper connection with themselves and each other. She hosts community sound baths, half-day retreats, and paddleboard SUP yoga on the water, blending movement, stillness, and soulful restoration.
Her certifications include Ayurvedic Integrative Nutrition Coaching under Laura Plumb, Reiki Level 2 with Sahaj Kaur, Ayurvedic Bodywork from Kripalu, and Prenatal & Kids Yoga with Lauren Prindiville.
Outside of teaching and healing, Michelle finds joy in cooking vibrant meals, crafting homemade skincare remedies, and soaking in the salt air on beach days.

What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda, a 5,000-year-old Indian system rooted in the Vedas, is intertwined with yoga as its sister science. It provides a holistic lens for comprehending health and equilibrium.
Focusing on prevention rather than mere symptom alleviation, Ayurveda aligns living with nature's rhythms and underscores self-care for sustained balance. This practice connects our environment, habits, and choices to personal well-being.
Ayurveda aims for equilibrium via healthful living, acknowledging the intricate interplay of body, mind, habits, and age. As both preventive and healing, it harmonizes imbalances. With its holistic approach, Ayurveda uncovers the symbiosis of body and mind in upholding balance.
